It’s been such a fruitful year! We kicked off with School For Scandal directed by our own Head of Voice, Christine Adaire; a British Farce with a steam-punk vibe. Then jumping into second semester I was cast as Moss in Glengarry Glen Ross for SkyFest, followed by a wonderful reading at Mozilla for renowned playwright David Adjmi. Heading into spring, I played Helena in one cast and Titania/Snout in our second cast during a fun-filled tour of Shakespeare’s Midsummer directed by the lovely Dawn Monique Williams. We traveled to local schools in the SF Bay Area over the course of two weeks, switching up casts for each show. It was an excellent challenge in focus, timing and endurance.
For our final production of the year, I had the pleasure, the challenge and the privilege of playing Elinor in Kate Hamill’s Sense & Sensibility directed by Pirronne Yousefzadeh, the new Associate Artistic Director/ Director of Engagement at The Geva Theatre Center in Rochester NY.
And to wrap it all up at A.C.T.’s New Strands Festival, I was honored to be in the room with director Daniel Aukin and playwright Emily Feldman for her new play The Best We Could.
And now for some much needed ZZZZZZs and nature time before Year 3 the final year!
